Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Director of Post-Award Grant Accounting will provide financial and grant management oversight and leadership to the post-award grants team as well as the programmatic staff.
If you were already in this Director of Post-Award Grant Accounting role, here are some areas you could expect to work in:
- Oversee post-award accounting activities to include billing, sub-recipient monitoring, cost transfers, expenditure approvals, timesheet adjustments, payroll certifications, compliance, and financial reporting
- Be responsible for overseeing the Uniform Guidance Audit, including interaction with auditors and coordinating audit requests needed from bureaus and administrators
- Upload requested documents to the audit firm’s portal and prepare the year end Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards
- Build collaborative working relationships with and provide outstanding customer support to directors, administrators, and administrative colleagues
The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, well-organized, and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. It is also important that this person comes in with a passion to implement positive change. Candidates must reside in Boston.
