JOHNLEONARD is seeking an Executive Legal Assistant to join our client’s thriving and welcoming team. This full-time hybrid role is based in Washington, DC, and offers a competitive salary range of $80K-$100K and a benefits package. Prior litigation support experience in a law firm is required for this role.

In your first few weeks in this Executive Legal Assistant role, you can expect to:

  • Manage attorney and practice calendars and handle delegated sensitive and emergent emails and telephone calls
  • Coordinate deadlines, analyze information, and follow up on or request information
  • Assist attorneys in balancing competing priorities and project management
  • Draft complex correspondence and legal documents and perform light legal research as requested
  • Assist with the high-level, complex Partner billing
  • Create PowerPoint presentations and distribute meeting materials

To apply for this Executive Legal Assistant role, a minimum of 8 years of legal secretary experience in a law firm and litigation knowledge is required. Your soft skills, expertise and experience should include:

  • Accurate typing and advanced level skills using Microsoft Word and client relationship management software
  • Solid experience with formatting documents, including styles
  • Outstanding client service, communication, and interpersonal skills
