About the Role

Our client, a well-established and respected Boston-based law firm, is seeking a skilled Health Care & Transaction Attorney to join its Chambers-ranked health and human services practice.
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Active membership in the Massachusetts Bar, or eligibility to waive in
- A minimum of 2 years of experience practicing health care law
- Knowledge of state and federal health care regulations, including HIPAA, Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, and related compliance frameworks
- Strong legal research, analytical, and drafting skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-centered approach
- Commitment to professional ethics, continuous learning, and collegial teamwork
Key Responsibilities
- Advise health care and human services clients on regulatory compliance, including HIPAA, licensure, and certification matters
- Draft, review, and negotiate health care contracts, including service agreements, affiliation agreements, and vendor contracts
- Support clients on matters involving corporate governance, enrollment, and Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement
- Assist with internal investigations and represent clients in enforcement and audit actions
- Provide legal counsel on privacy, data security, and risk management issues
- Collaborate with attorneys across practice areas such as nonprofit tax, real estate, employment law, and civil litigation
