Location: Boston Metro, MA | Hybrid – 1 remote day/week
Salary Range: $70K-$80K | Bonus Eligible
Schedule: Full-time | Monday-Friday, 9-5

About the Role

A small and highly collegial law firm is seeking a proactive Junior Paralegal/Receptionist with a working understanding of litigation. While this role includes core receptionist and administrative support responsibilities, it is ideal for someone eager to grow within a law firm and assist wherever needed.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a litigation practice with a general understanding of the litigation process
  • Rule 9A and state and federal e-filing experience required
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, small law firm environment
  • Clear, professional communication skills with colleagues and clients
  • Comfortable working collaboratively and independently
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe
  • Professional, approachable demeanor with a team-oriented mindset

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide front-desk coverage, including answering phones and greeting visitors
  • Schedule meetings and manage calendars for attorneys
  • Prepare and format legal correspondence and legal documents
  • Assist with court filings, including local, state, and federal courts
  • Support e-filing processes (Rule 9A preferred)
  • Manage incoming and outgoing client communications
  • Perform scanning, copying, and document management
  • Maintain meeting rooms, kitchen, and supply areas
  • Order office supplies and coordinate vendors
  • Assist with special projects as needed
