As a Manager of IT Infrastructure, you will manage all aspects of the firm’s IT infrastructure. The position is a salaried role in the Boston office, offering the flexibility to work remotely three days a week. The Manager reports directly to the Chief Information Officer.
To give you an idea of how this flexible role would look and feel, here are some of the things you could expect to do:
- Manage and monitor all aspects of the firm’s IT infrastructure, including server environment, storage, backups, patching, data & amp; telephony, LAN/WAN/WLAN, and offsite data center
- Ensure the IT infrastructure’s security, integrity, and availability by implementing and maintaining security protocols, disaster recovery plans, and backup systems
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the infrastructure team, including task delegation, resource allocation, and performance management
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards
To apply for this Manager of IT Infrastructure role, you will need a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field. You will also require 8+ years of experience managing IT infrastructure, including server environment, storage, backups, telecom, telephony, internet, data center, and patching. In addition, you should have prior management experience and expertise with hyperconverged server environments (vxRail), and cloud-based infrastructure and services (Azure and AWS) are preferred.
