Salary Range: $130K-$145K | Exempt | Bonus Eligible

About the Role

Our client, a leader in the legal industry, is seeking a highly skilled Practice Technology Analyst to join their innovative information technology team. This role is ideal for a legal technology professional with strong experience in law firms, IT user support, and knowledge management systems. You’ll play a pivotal role in advancing the firm’s legal technology strategy, ensuring seamless end-user experiences, and optimizing adoption of critical practice technology tools. This position offers a collaborative and dynamic work environment where you’ll directly influence how technology enhances legal practice efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum of 7 years of law firm experience, preferably in IT end-user support or knowledge management.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, iManage Work 10, Litera Desktop, HighQ, vi by Aderant, and advanced Excel/text editing.
  • Deep understanding of Generative AI in the legal industry and its practical applications.
  • Exceptional ability to communicate effectively with the ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset, with proven ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on legal technology and its impact on practice efficiency.
  • Deliver training, conduct user sessions, and support end-user adoption of law firm software and document management systems.
  • Monitor release updates, feature upgrades, and communicate changes to stakeholders.
  • Partner with IT Operations, Security, and practice groups to implement effective workflows and projects.
  • Drive change management during new software rollouts and technology initiatives.
  • Collaborate with vendors to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Research and track emerging legal technology trends, including Generative AI applications for legal research, contract analysis, and document automation.
  • Develop documentation and testing protocols for deployments and upgrades.
