Our client is seeking a talented Records Assistant in its Philadelphia, PA office. The Records Assistant role comes with a generous salary of $40K-$50K, many excellent benefits and the chance to progress your career at a thriving law firm.

As a Records Assistant, you will maintain records, receiving, indexing, retrieving and destroying them in accordance with applicable laws, codes and regulations.

In your first few weeks in this Records Assistant role, you can expect to:

  • Organize and maintain the firm’s overall records systems
  • Preserve records with historical or compliance value
  • Assist with ensuring proper provision of storage and security for historical archival records
  • Perform a variety of general office support duties such as filing, answering telephone inquiries, typing correspondence, opening, handling, and distributing mail

To apply for this Records Assistant role, you will need a high school diploma, GED, or similar, and 2+ years of experience working in a records department, preferably legal or healthcare. You will also need:

  • Ability to prioritize work and meet critical deadlines
  • Ability to work effectively with a variety of individuals at various levels within the firm
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and organization skills
  • A detail-oriented approach with exceptional attention to accuracy
