Our client is seeking a Sales/Business Development Manager to join a growing sales team in the defense and aerospace industry. This high-visibility role offers the opportunity to manage a strategic territory, build lasting client partnerships, and drive new business growth in the military, aerospace, commercial, and industrial markets.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • 5+ years of sales experience in the defense industry
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a territory, drive new business, and grow key accounts
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Valid driver’s license and passport required
  • Must comply with U.S. export control requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Territory Management: Own and manage assigned territory, ensuring achievement of revenue, bookings, and margin goals
  • Strategic Sales: Promote the full value proposition of our client’s products and services. Maintain and expand existing accounts while developing new business
  • Account Management: Build partnerships across multiple organizational levels, including engineering, program management, purchasing, and operations
  • Forecasting & Reporting: Provide accurate sales forecasts, strategic insights, and document all opportunities in Salesforce
  • New Business Development: Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities (NBOs); drive design wins to secure long-term growth
  • Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with program managers, engineers, and operations teams to meet customer requirements
