Job Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced and mission-driven Social Media Associate to lead social media strategy, content creation, and digital brand growth across multiple platforms. This newly created role offers a unique opportunity to shape the online presence of this ‘industry’ leader and drive meaningful engagement with diverse global audiences.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 5–7+ years in social media management, digital marketing, or content strategy.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or related field.
  • Proven expertise in SEO, social analytics tools, and campaign management.
  • Experience managing multiple accounts and cross-functional projects.
  • Strong writing, editing, and visual storytelling skills.

Key Responsibilities

Content Strategy & Creation

  • Develop high-impact social media content, blogs, newsletters, and multimedia storytelling.
  • Build and manage a strategic content calendar with cross-channel alignment.
  • Collaborate with leadership and creative partners on video, graphics, and campaign assets.

Social Media Management & Growth

  • Lead social media marketing across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, and YouTube.
  • Drive audience growth, engagement, and brand awareness.
  • Manage community interaction, comments, messaging, and advocacy conversations.

Analytics, SEO & Optimization

  • Track social media analytics, SEO performance, and website traffic.
  • Produce bi-weekly performance reports with actionable insights.
  • Monitor platform trends, algorithms, and best practices to optimize reach.

Digital Projects & Partnerships

  • Maintain Wikipedia and IMDb profiles.
  • Coordinate with external marketing consultants and internal stakeholders.
  • Support budget planning and campaign execution.
