Pay Rate: $25/hour
Schedule: Full-time | Monday-Friday | Exempt
Required: 1+ years of experience in workforce development, career services, education, social services, or a related field

A leading nonprofit workforce development organization is seeking a dedicated T-DH Skills Program Assistant to support healthcare training initiatives and guide participants toward rewarding careers in the healthcare industry.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 1+ years of experience in workforce development, career services, education, social services, or a related field
  • Experience supporting individuals facing barriers to employment strongly preferred
  • Strong project management, organizational, and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and comfort using digital communication and data management platforms
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze outcomes, solve problems, and adapt to changing priorities
  • Experience working effectively with diverse populations and fostering inclusive environments

Key Job Functions

  • Screen applicants for program eligibility and collect required documentation
  • Support participants with licensure, certification exams, and program registrations
  • Coordinate interviews, referrals, information sessions, and participant follow-up
  • Assess participant readiness and support enrollment, retention, and completion goals
  • Facilitate job readiness, professional development, and customer service training in hybrid and in-person settings
  • Coordinate orientations, graduations, and other program events
  • Maintain accurate participant records using systems such as Salesforce, Microsoft Teams, Google Workspace, and other digital platforms
  • Ensure all program data is complete, accurate, and compliant with funding requirements
  • Build relationships with participants, community partners, and employer partners
  • Collaborate with internal teams to achieve program and enrollment goals
  • Participate in staff meetings, team initiatives, and support the organization’s mission
