JOHNLEONARD is seeking an experienced and collaborative Temporary New Business Intake and Conflicts Specialist to join an inclusive and friendly law firm in Boston, MA. This hybrid role has the hours of 9 AM – 5 PM.
As a Temporary New Business Intake and Conflicts Specialist, you will be responsible for reviewing all new business generated firm-wide to support the firm’s risk management needs. You will also perform thorough and accurate conflict of interest searches for new business and lateral attorney hiring.
In this NBI and Conflicts Specialist role, you can expect to:
- Use logic to generate name searches for matter openings
- Review existing waivers
- Perform client research using Capital IQ and WestLaw
- Maintain system black book warnings
- Set up and monitor ethical screens in Intapp Walls

- The ability to manage multiple priorities and complete tasks with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Excel
- Intapp Conflicts experience is preferred but not required.
