Position Overview
We are hiring a highly skilled Temporary Real Estate Legal Assistant to provide essential support to a reputable legal team in Woburn, MA. In this role, you will contribute to real estate transactions, support attorneys, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Candidates with experience in estate planning, corporate law, or other transactional law areas are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications & Skills
- Prior experience as a legal assistant is required; real estate law experience is highly desired
- Experience in estate planning, corporate law, or other transactional law areas will be considered
Key Responsibilities
- Document Preparation: Draft, format, proofread, and file legal documents, including purchase and sale agreements, leases, deeds, and closing statements
- Administrative Support: Manage phones, handle correspondence, scan documents, maintain files, and perform general office tasks
- Scheduling: Oversee attorney calendars, coordinate client meetings, and manage real estate closing schedules
- File Management: Organize and maintain electronic and physical case files to ensure accuracy and accessibility
- Communication: Serve as a point of contact for clients, real estate agents, and other stakeholders involved in transactions
- Financial Tasks: Support billing processes and maintain case-related financial records, including time entry
