Pay Rate: $22/hour
Schedule: Full-time | Monday – Friday, 9-5
Assignment Duration: 3-6 months starting ASAP

About the Opportunity

Our client is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Temporary Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to support daily operations in a professional, client-facing office environment for 3-6 months. This role is ideal for someone with a positive attitude, strong organizational skills, and a passion for supporting elder care and adults with disabilities.

The Receptionist/Administrative Assistant plays a critical role in maintaining office structure, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering exceptional customer service to staff, caregivers, members, and external partners.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 1+ year of experience working with elders or adults with disabilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management, multitasking, and prioritization abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, OneDrive)
  • Familiarity with standard office equipment (printers, copiers, fax)
  • Ability to follow directives and complete projects independently
  • CORI clearance, physical exam within the past 12 months, and annual TB test
  • Dependable, professional, and team-oriented with a friendly demeanor

Essential Functions

  • Answer and route incoming phone calls with professionalism
  • Manage front door access (buzz-in system) and greet/sign in guests
  • Maintain a clean, organized office environment (kitchen, trash, common areas)
  • Sort and distribute mail and deliveries
  • Monitor and restock office supplies
  • Assist with new hire paperwork, including CORI/SORI/OIG processing
  • Upload and maintain electronic records in internal systems (e.g., 4D)
  • Support HR and onboarding tasks as assigned
  • Manage filing, document preparation, scanning, and data entry
  • Support insurance claims, invoices, and prior authorizations
