JOHNLEONARD is looking for an experienced and collaborative Trial/Litigation Attorney to join our client’s thriving employment law practice. This full-time Litigation Attorney role is based in Boston and offers a salary of $140K-$160K and excellent benefits.
As a skilled Trial/Litigation Attorney, you will join an exceptional team and work on novel employment law matters. The firm provides counseling, negotiation, and litigation services to executives, professionals, and corporate clients in a broad range of industries. You will also represent clients in state and federal court cases, arbitrations, and mediation.
In this Litigation Attorney job, you can expect to:
- Take and defend fact and expert witness depositions
- Direct and coach supporting legal staff members
- Conduct research, schedule, and maintain case files and draft pleadings
To apply for this Trial/Litigation Attorney role, you must have at least seven years of litigation/trial experience and excellent analytical, writing, and oral advocacy skills. Employment law experience and a book of business are also a plus but not a requirement. In addition, you must be well-spoken and comfortable presenting arguments to judges and juries. You should also be knowledgeable and experienced in state and federal pleading practice. Excellent research and writing skills and knowledge regarding e-discovery are also essential.
