About the Role:
Our client, a highly respected law firm, is seeking a Trust Operations Administrator to join its Boston-based Trust Operations Department. This full-time, in-office position offers an excellent opportunity to develop and grow within a collaborative and high-performing environment. The role supports Private Client attorneys and the broader Trust Operations team and is best suited for a detail-oriented and numbers-driven professional seeking meaningful, long-term career advancement in financial operations or trust administration.
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree
- Minimum of 2–5 years of relevant experience in Trust Operations, Accounting, or Financial Services
- Strong numerical proficiency and experience using accounting and trust administration software
- Effective communication skills—both written and verbal
- Demonstrated ability to follow procedures, meet deadlines, and maintain accurate records
- High attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills
- Ability to work well independently and in a team-oriented environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with AccuTech Cheetah is a plus (training provided)
Key Responsibilities:
- Review daily cash reconciliations and prepare bi-monthly bank reconciliations
- Monitor all banking activity, maintain outstanding checklists, and follow up on stale checks
- Process account openings and closings with precision and confidentiality
- Calculate income accruals, money market interest, and trustee fees
- Assist with department operations and provide backup support for the Trust Operations Manager and Director
- Prepare detailed asset valuations using EVP EstateVal
- Perform accurate data input and financial calculations in accordance with accounting best practice
