Our client, a well-established law firm, is seeking an experienced Trusts & Estates Legal Administrative Assistant to support multiple attorneys in a collaborative, client-focused practice. Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- 5+ years of experience as a Legal Administrative Assistant supporting partners, preferably within a Trusts & Estates, Estate Planning, or Probate practice
- Knowledge of estate planning, trust administration, and probate matters
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; experience with Document Management Systems, billing software, and familiarity with Visio or PowerPoint is a plus
- Excellent organizational, proofreading, and multitasking skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and a commitment to providing outstanding client service
- Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and integrity
Key Job Functions
- Prepare, edit, proofread, and format estate planning documents, correspondence, memoranda, and other legal documents with exceptional accuracy
- Maintain and organize electronic and physical client files using a document management system
- Coordinate attorney calendars, schedule meetings, and prepare materials for client appointments
- Process incoming and outgoing mail, scanning, copying, filing, and document distribution
- Enter attorney time, assist with legal billing, and review invoices for accuracy
- Communicate professionally with clients, financial advisors, accountants, attorneys, and other stakeholders
- Prepare final estate planning binders, executed documents, trust funding recommendations, and related correspondence
- Assist attorneys with administrative projects and additional departmental support as needed
