About the Opportunity
Our client in the train safety systems industry is seeking a skilled Temporary Electrical/ Electromechanical Assembler to install and integrate safety equipment on trains. This hands-on role involves wiring, assembling, and testing electrical and mechanical components according to technical schematics to ensure safe, efficient system operation.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering OR 2+ years of electromechanical assembly experience
- Experience with wiring, panel assembly, or mechanical integration
- Familiarity with safety equipment and transportation systems is a plus
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to follow instructions precisely
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Key Job Functions
- Assemble, wire, and test electrical and electromechanical components of train safety systems
- Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and installation instructions
- Route wiring and connect sensors, relays, and other electrical devices to ensure proper operation
- Integrate electrical systems with mechanical components in the train environment
- Test installed safety systems and troubleshoot any issues
- Maintain compliance with all safety standards and procedures during installation
- Collaborate with engineers and technicians to complete installations on schedule
- Document work and report progress to supervisors
