Pay Range: $75K-$90K 
Schedule: Full-time | Monday-Friday

A top U.S. law firm is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to support two high-level lawyers in litigation and corporate law. This role is ideal for an organized, proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple priorities, and delivers exceptional client and internal support.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
  • 5+ years of legal or professional services administrative experience; litigation experience highly preferred. Big Law experience a plus
  • Advanced MS Word (styles, numbering, cross-references), Outlook, Excel, PDF tools
  • Legal terminology, civil procedures, discovery processes, and filing with courts/agencies
  • iManage, InTapp, Dayforce, Chrome River, Billstream (or willingness to learn)

Key Job Functions

  • Manage and maintain calendars, schedule appointments, meetings, and travel, and resolve conflicts proactively
  • Serve as a professional point of contact for internal teams and external clients
  • Prepare, edit, redline, and proofread legal documents and correspondence with high accuracy
  • Organize and maintain documents in iManage or similar document management systems
  • Support new client/matter intake, conflicts checks, engagement letters, and billing coordination
  • Facilitate timely time-entry, expense processing (Chrome River), and billing tasks
  • Track litigation deadlines, assist in drafting motions, pleadings, and discovery materials
  • Prepare exhibits and materials for hearings, depositions, and trials
  • Conduct research on case law, rules, and statutes, including liaising with court personnel
  • Contribute to process improvements with checklists, templates, and playbooks
  • Learn and utilize legal tools, including InTapp, iManage, Dayforce, Chrome River, Billstream, PACER, and state/federal ECF systems
  • Maintain discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive client communications
