Job Overview
A large national law firm is hiring an experienced Public Finance Paralegal to support its dynamic transactional practice group. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex municipal finance transactions, bond issuances, and regulatory compliance matters across multiple jurisdictions.

Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or completion of a paralegal studies program preferred
- Paralegal certification (a plus)
- 5+ years of experience as a paralegal in public finance, municipal bonds, or transactional law
- Experience with bond transactions, debt statements, and financial filings
- Familiarity with regulations such as the Local Government Unit Debt Act (LGUDA) (a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in legal documentation
- Advanced organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in legal research tools and document management systems
- Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion
Key Job Functions
- Draft and review legal documents, including bond resolutions, offering statements, and closing documents
- Conduct legal research related to public finance, municipal securities, and applicable regulations
- Organize and manage due diligence materials for public finance transactions
- Coordinate and manage transaction closings, including signature packages and closing binders
- Prepare and file state and federal tax documents, UCC filings, and other regulatory documentation
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local public finance regulations
- Maintain organized transaction files, databases, and documentation systems
- Communicate with clients, underwriters, and internal stakeholders to track transaction progress
