Salary Range: $83K-$122K depending on experience and location
Schedule: Full-time | Monday-Friday | Rotational on-call weekend coverage 2-3 times/year

A respected international law firm is seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Research Analyst to support attorneys and business professionals with advanced legal research, business intelligence, and AI-powered research support. 

This role is ideal for a research professional who excels in fast-paced environments and is passionate about integrating AI research tools, emerging technologies, and innovative research strategies into legal workflows.

Qualifications & Skills

  • MLIS, MLS, J.D., or equivalent required
  • 3+ years of professional research analyst experience, including legal research
  • Experience within a law firm or professional services environment 
  • Strong knowledge of legal databases, business intelligence tools, and research methodologies
  • Experience with AI research platforms and emerging technologies
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines with accuracy

Responsibilities

  • Conduct high-level legal research, business research, and competitive intelligence for attorneys and business teams
  • Utilize AI-powered research tools and generative AI platforms to improve efficiency and accuracy
  • Validate AI-generated outputs and support responsible AI adoption
  • Monitor litigation, regulatory, and industry developments and contribute to alerts and internal communications
  • Maintain expertise in legal databases, digital research platforms, interlibrary loan, and document delivery services
  • Serve as a research liaison for assigned practice groups and business teams
  • Support process improvements, research tool evaluations, and special projects
  • Deliver exceptional client service through strong communication and collaboration
