Location: Boston Metro, MA | Hybrid – 2 remote days/week
Salary Range: $63K-$78K | Bonus Eligible
Schedule: Full-time | Monday-Friday, 9-5 | Non-exempt
Required: 3+ years of professional services experience, including at least 2 years in marketing or business development

About the Opportunity

A prestigious AmLaw firm is seeking a highly organized and proactive Business Development Coordinator to support firmwide marketing and business development initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with attorneys, practice leaders, and marketing professionals while contributing to strategic growth initiatives, client development efforts, and brand visibility. 

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field required
  • 3+ years of professional services experience, including at least 2 years in marketing or business development
  • Law firm experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of business development, client relationship management (CRM), and professional services marketing
  • Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of an organization
  • Outstanding organizational, project management, and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with CRM platforms, WordPress, and marketing technology tools preferred
  • Ability to leverage AI tools, including Microsoft Copilot, while ensuring accuracy and quality control
  • Ability to work additional hours as needed to meet deadlines and business needs

Responsibilities

  • Support the Business Development team and Practice Chairs in executing strategic business development initiatives
  • Assist with the preparation of RFP responses, pitches, proposals, presentations, and other client-facing materials
  • Conduct client research, competitive intelligence, and prospect research to support growth opportunities
  • Maintain pipeline tracking and assist with identifying cross-selling opportunities
  • Coordinate industry sponsorships, conferences, and client-focused events
  • Partner with the Events Coordinator to execute practice area events and networking programs
  • Manage legal directory submissions, rankings, and surveys, including the Chambers nomination process
  • Coordinate deadlines related to speaking engagements, conferences, and thought leadership opportunities
  • Support practice area leaders with client development projects from planning through execution
  • Maintain and support the firm’s CRM system, including contact management and database integrity
  • Manage target lists and contact data to support strategic marketing and business development goals
  • Track event communications, RSVPs, and attendee reporting
  • Maintain attorney biographies and website content using WordPress
  • Update representative experience and business development activities within firm databases
  • Create, edit, and proofread marketing communications, including client alerts, invitations, biographies, and promotional materials
  • Generate and distribute marketing analytics reports through marketing automation platforms
  • Coordinate content creation, editing, and publication for internal communications initiatives
  • Provide administrative support to the Business Development and Marketing team
