Overview

A mission-driven organization within the nonprofit workforce development industry is seeking a T-DH Career Navigator to support individuals pursuing careers in healthcare training programs. This hybrid role focuses on delivering high-impact career coaching, job placement support, and workforce training services to diverse job seekers.

This is an opportunity to play a strategic role in career development, job-readiness training, and employment placement while building meaningful connections across the healthcare industry.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 1+ years of experience in a customer-facing rolecareer coaching, or workforce development
  • High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred 
  • Strong knowledge of job search tools, resume best practices, and interview techniques
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and web-based platforms
  • Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a diverse, multicultural environment
  • Availability to work onsite at least three days per week

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized career coaching, including employment assessments, resume writing, and interview coaching
  • Support job seekers with goal setting, barrier identification, and career planning
  • Deliver high-quality, ATS-friendly resume development for professionals and career changers
  • Guide participants through job search strategies, labor market insights, and healthcare career pathways
  • Identify and connect candidates to healthcare job opportunities during and after program completion
  • Facilitate engaging professional development workshops using adult learning techniques and digital tools
  • Lead sessions on job readiness, career exploration, and workforce skills training
  • Build and maintain relationships with healthcare employers and hiring managers
  • Conduct job development and employer outreach to support talent placement initiatives
  • Collaborate with internal teams, partners, and stakeholders to enhance workforce solutions
  • Manage an active caseload, providing consistent communication via phone, email, and text
  • Deliver constructive, empathetic coaching to improve job readiness and retention
  • Assess client needs and connect individuals to additional support services
  • Track performance metrics and outcomes using Salesforce CRM
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with program requirements
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
