Schedule: Full-time | Monday-Friday

About the Opportunity

Our client is seeking an Estate Planning Associate Attorney licensed in Massachusetts with at least one (1) year of Probate & Family Court experience to join their growing legal team. This unique opportunity combines estate planning law with a strong emphasis on business development and client relationship management.

The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, results-driven, and motivated by both practicing law and building lasting professional relationships. While your primary legal work will focus on estate planning, you will also generate and convert opportunities across trusts and estates, family law, and business law.

This is a commission-driven role with earnings tied directly to new business generated, making it an exciting opportunity for an attorney ready to grow their career and income.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Licensed Massachusetts attorney in good standing
  • 1+ year of Probate & Family Court experience
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with proven ability to engage clients and generate business
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple client consultations, follow-ups, and projects
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and case management/CRM software (or willingness to learn)

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead consultations with prospective clients on estate planning and identify opportunities across all practice areas
  • Partner with marketing and intake teams to improve client conversion, follow-up, and referral tracking
  • Build and nurture relationships with referral partners, including financial advisors, realtors, and business owners
  • Represent the firm at community events, client workshops, networking functions, and business development meetings
  • Execute outreach strategies with the marketing team to expand client reach
  • Draft and implement estate planning documents, including: Revocable & Irrevocable Trusts, Wills, Powers of Attorney, and Healthcare Proxies
  • Manage probate matters, including petitions, accountings, real estate transactions, and estate settlements
  • Support trust and estate administration, tax filings, and beneficiary distributions
  • Make limited court appearances for uncontested probate cases
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex estate, tax, and asset protection strategies
