Job Overview
A prominent Boston law firm is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Fiduciary Litigation Paralegal to support a dynamic Trusts & Estates practice. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-impact probate litigation, fiduciary matters, and estate administration within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in litigation, probate law, or fiduciary matters preferred
- Strong ability to manage high-volume workloads and meet deadlines
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Comfortable working with clients in sensitive or high-stress situations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and legal document systems
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize, adapt, and thrive in a fast-paced legal environment
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and file Probate Court documents, including estate, trust, and guardianship/conservatorship filings
- Draft legal correspondence, motions, affidavits, and other litigation documents
- Coordinate court filings (e-filing, mail, and in-person submissions)
- Manage service of process and required legal notices (including publications)
- Communicate with courts, clients, financial institutions, and opposing counsel
- Track and maintain discovery processes and pleadings indexes
- Gather financial, real estate, and tax documentation
- Organize and maintain case files and legal records
- Record billable time and support attorneys with trial preparation
- Participate in team meetings and support special projects
