About the Opportunity
A nationally recognized private client and fiduciary services team is seeking an experienced Senior Trust Administrator to support a sophisticated portfolio of high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients. This newly created position offers the opportunity to work alongside a highly regarded trust and estate administration group known for excellence in fiduciary services, wealth planning, and trust operations. Â
Key Qualifications
- 7+ years of fiduciary administration experience within a trust department, law firm, family office, wealth management firm, or similar environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field; Juris Doctor (JD) preferred
- Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA) designation required
- Experience with estate administration and fiduciary income tax returns preferred
- Proficiency with fiduciary accounting software, trust administration platforms, and tax software such as SEI products and OneSource
- Strong understanding of trust law, estate planning, fiduciary compliance, and wealth transfer strategies
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently while maintaining accuracy
- Demonstrated professionalism, discretion, and commitment to confidentiality
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for trustees, beneficiaries, clients, and professional advisors regarding fiduciary account administration
- Manage complex trust administration matters, including account openings, distributions, reviews, terminations, and account closures
- Review and interpret trust agreements and related estate planning documents to ensure proper administration and compliance
- Monitor trust activity and maintain accurate records for trust assets, including investments, insurance policies, and real estate holdings
- Coordinate with investment managers, accountants, banking professionals, insurance advisors, and other external partners
- Assist with the preparation, review, and oversight of fiduciary and estate-related matters
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and process documentation to support continuous improvement initiatives
- Identify compliance concerns and recommend solutions related to fiduciary and regulatory requirements
- Participate in special projects and strategic initiatives as assigned
