MARIA PATSIOS

As JOHNLEONARD’S Controller, Maria drives strategic and operational initiatives in finance, information technology systems, and daily facility functions. In addition to being our finance and accounting subject-matter expert, she also manages essential compliance, insurance, and benefits processes.

Maria joined the JOHNLEONARD team after 8 years as Controller at Evolved By Nature, a sustainable biotechnology company. There, she managed accounting operations and compliance, played a key role in closing a large financing round, streamlined month-end processes, and implemented unit-level budgeting and forecasting to support data-driven decision-making. Prior to Evolved By Nature, Maria worked as a Finance Manager at Haemonetics and a Financial Advisor at Bose Corporation.

Maria graduated with a BA in Business Economics, majoring in Accounting and Finance, from the University of Pittsburgh and holds an MBA from Babson College.
