About the Opportunity

A premier Boston law firm is seeking a strategic Client Development Manager to drive business development, marketing strategy, and client relationship growth. This role partners closely with practice leadership to develop targeted initiatives that expand the client pipeline, strengthen brand visibility, and support revenue growth.

The ideal candidate brings experience in wealth management marketing, professional services business development, and client engagement strategy, along with strong communication and project management skills.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced credentials such as MBA, CFP, CFA, JD, CIMA, CPWA, or CPA are a plus
  • 7+ years of experience in wealth management, investment advisory, or professional services marketing and business development required
  • Experience with CRM systems, sales pipeline management, and proposal development tools
  • Strong writing, communication, and project management skills
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and support client-focused growth initiatives

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute business development strategies to grow client relationships and generate new opportunities
  • Support lead generation, pipeline tracking, and cross-selling initiatives across practice areas
  • Manage client pitches, proposals, and presentation materials
  • Produce marketing content, thought leadership, and client outreach campaigns
  • Maintain relevant website content, marketing materials, and brand messaging
  • Coordinate industry events, speaking opportunities, and sponsorships aligned with growth initiatives
  • Monitor industry trends and collaborate with internal teams to support competitive intelligence and strategic planning
