Our client is seeking a Litigation Assistant/Receptionist to support a dynamic litigation team handling complex toxic tort cases. This role blends front desk operations with legal administrative support, offering strong exposure to litigation processes in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications & Skills
- 1+ years of experience in a law firm or legal environment (litigation experience preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Professional communication skills with a client-facing mindset
- Ability to multitask and collaborate within a small team environment
Key Job Functions
- Assist with drafting legal correspondence, pleadings, and discovery documents
- Handle electronic filing (e-filing) and ensure proper document service
- Request and follow up on medical records, Social Security records, and personnel files
- Prepare summaries of case-related records
- Track and manage case deadlines
- Conduct legal research and proofread documents
- Process invoices and manage case-related expenses
- Serve as the first point of contact by answering and directing incoming phone calls
- Manage mail distribution, deliveries, and front office coordination
- Maintain inventory and order office supplies
- Track and update office expenses and records
- Perform general administrative support, including filing, copying, and document preparation
- Coordinate with building management and external vendors
- Schedule meetings, manage calendars, and arrange travel accommodations
