A mission-driven nonprofit workforce development organization is seeking a Temporary Career Coach to support clients. This is a fully remote opportunity with the option to work onsite if preferred. The role focuses on empowering job seekers through individualized coaching, career planning, networking strategies, and employment support
Qualifications & Skills
- 2+ years of experience in:
- Career coaching
- Workforce development
- Recruiting
- Job search support
- Strong knowledge of:
- Online job search tools
- LinkedIn and social networking strategies
- Resume development and interview coaching
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience may be considered
Responsibilities
- Provide customized 1:1 career and job search coaching
- Assist clients with resumes, interviewing, networking, and self-marketing
- Support job seekers in identifying career pathways and overcoming barriers
- Build and maintain employer relationships for job development opportunities
- Track program outcomes and maintain accurate database reporting
- Collaborate with internal teams, partner agencies, and community stakeholders
- Facilitate employment-related workshops and career programming
