Location: Boston, MA | Hybrid – 3 remote days/week
Salary Range: $135K-$165K | Bonus Eligible
Schedule: Full-time | Monday-Friday, 9-5 | Exempt
Required: Bachelor’s degree, 8+ years of trust operations experience, and 3+ years of management experience in fiduciary services

About the Opportunity
A nationally recognized fiduciary services organization is seeking an experienced Trust Operations Manager to lead daily operations, transaction processing, and systems management for its growing Private Client Department. This organization is recognized as one of the top trust operations in the country.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 8+ years of experience in trust operations or trust department administration
- 3+ years of management experience in fiduciary services or a related field
- Advanced knowledge of fiduciary software systems and applications
- Strong understanding of trust administration, custodial services, and transaction processing
- Experience with the SEI platform for trust administration and custodial services is strongly preferred
- Professional designations such as CSOP or CTOP are highly desirable
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and project management skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain a high level of accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments
- Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and discretion when handling confidential information
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of Trust Operations Specialists, providing training, mentorship, and operational guidance
- Oversee daily trust operations, including account opening, money movements, trade settlements, corporate actions, reconciliations, statement production, and fee processing
- Provide technical support to attorneys on fiduciary reporting, complex transactions, and operational troubleshooting
- Collaborate with department leaders to improve cross-functional processes, efficiency, and service delivery
- Manage relationships with external fiduciary accounting platform providers, investment advisors, and other service partners
- Develop and implement operational procedures focused on automation, accuracy, efficiency, and industry best practices
- Oversee trust system administration, including system configurations, user permissions, transaction mapping, account onboarding, and special asset monitoring
- Support fiduciary compliance reviews by maintaining accurate transaction logs and authorization records
- Lead and contribute to strategic initiatives, including technology optimization, operational improvements, and business growth projects
