Location: Boston, MA | Hybrid – 3 remote days/week
Pay Rate: $60-$65/hour
Schedule: Full-time, Monday – Friday | ~3-month assignment
Required: 5+ years of real estate law experience

About the Opportunity
A Boston law firm is seeking a Temporary Real Estate Attorney to support ongoing transactions and projects.
Qualifications & Skills
- 5+ years of real estate law experience
- Experience with commercial real estate transactions, title and survey review, and real estate documentation
- Familiarity with construction agreements, environmental documentation, and regulatory requirements is highly valued
- Strong contract drafting, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple transactions and projects with accuracy and attention to detail
Key Responsibilities
- Review title and survey documents from the borrower’s counsel perspective
- Coordinate with title companies and surveyors to finalize documents based on lender requirements
- Draft and negotiate closing and escrow agreements
- Draft and review real estate documents, including deeds, mortgages, and leases
- Review construction contracts, architect agreements, and disbursing agreements
- Review and negotiate joint construction administration agreements
- Review environmental reports, soil administration plans, MassHistoric MOUs, Chapter 91 licenses, National Grid leases, and other site-related documents
- Help ensure agreements appropriately allocate responsibilities between parties and support regulatory and contractual compliance
