We are helping a respected law firm find a full-time hybrid Human Resources Supervisor, and the role comes with an attractive salary of $120K-$135K and benefits package.

As a Human Resources Supervisor, you will be responsible for the daily operations of the Human Resources team and functions, including professional staff performance management, employee relations, training and development, recruitment and retention, policies, procedures, compliance, health and safety, and compensation.

During your first few weeks in this Human Resources role, you can expect to begin work on some of the following:

  • Develop, shape, and strengthen organizational culture and employee engagement through innovative Human Resources programs in the areas of employee relations, recruiting, compensation administration, and training and development
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and standardization of firm policies and procedures and general operations
  • Effectively utilize the firm’s performance management process to communicate performance expectations, monitor performance, coach employees, and manage unsatisfactory performance
  • Manage employee terminations and conduct exit interviews as necessary
  • Oversee and assist with all leaves of absence programs, including disability, FMLA, and LOA; oversee HRIS data and interact with the firm’s benefits and payroll departments to resolve issues

To apply for this Human Resources Supervisor role, you will need a proven track record and progressive HR experience. Law firm experience is highly desired, but experience within a professional services environment will be considered. Familiarity with employment laws and regulations, compliance, and PFML, FMLA, etc. is required. Additional requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Workday
  • Broad knowledge of current HR best practices and procedures, as well as federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Capability to coordinate and implement projects, processes, and change management
  • Desire to handle multiple projects and priorities, as well as organize and prioritize work and delegate effectively
  • Flexibility to travel and adjust hours as necessary to meet operating and business needs
