About the Opportunity
Are you an experienced data access, privacy, and compliance professional looking to make an impact? We are seeking a Temporary Data Access & Operations Coordinator to oversee data access administration, information security processes, compliance initiatives, and operational excellence across multiple business units. This role partners closely with leadership, IT, and internal stakeholders to ensure secure access to critical systems while driving process improvements and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Information Security, Compliance, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in business operations, information security, privacy, compliance, project management, or a related area
- Experience leading projects or serving as a project or team lead
- Knowledge of data governance, information security, privacy regulations, and operational best practices
- Proficiency with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, databases, spreadsheets, and other business applications
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with the ability to solve complex problems independently
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to interpret regulations, contracts, policies, and program requirements
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Key Job Functions
- Manage data access administration, privacy compliance, and operational processes to ensure adherence to organizational policies and regulatory requirements
- Review and process user access requests, administer user accounts, permissions, password resets, and account deactivations
- Serve as the primary liaison between business units and Information Security (InfoSec), Information Technology (IT), and other stakeholders on privacy and data security matters
- Provide guidance and training on data access procedures, security requirements, and compliance documentation
- Develop, maintain, and improve privacy, security, and data governance policies, procedures, and documentation
- Coordinate projects, meetings, and cross-functional initiatives related to information security, compliance, and operational improvements
- Conduct user access reviews, support audits, analyze reports, and resolve data discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records, SharePoint resources, operating procedures, and compliance documentation
- Build collaborative relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders while delivering exceptional customer service
- Monitor project progress, recommend process improvements, and ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and organizational regulations
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned
