JOHNLEONARD has an exciting opportunity for a collaborative and experienced Temporary Preschool Lead Teacher to join our client’s inclusive and welcoming team. This full-time Preschool Lead Teacher role offers an attractive rate.
As a dedicated Temporary Preschool Lead Teacher, you will provide a quality experience to children and parents that focus on the organization’s values of honesty, respect, responsibility, and caring. You will also implement a curriculum within the established guidelines and design and implement daily lesson and activity plans.
In your first few weeks in this Temporary Preschool Lead Teacher job, you can expect to:
- Supervise the children, classroom, and all activities
- Conduct parent conferences and maintain positive relationships and effective communication with parents
- Engage parents as volunteers
- Maintain the program site, equipment, and records
- Attend and participate in family nights, program activities, staff meetings, and staff training
To apply for this Temporary Preschool Lead Teacher role, you must have CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications and Child Abuse prevention training within 30 days of your hire date. Preferably, you will have previous experience working with children in a developmental setting. In addition, you should be able to plan, organize, and implement age-appropriate/developmentally appropriate program activities. Previous experience with diverse populations and the ability to develop positive, authentic relationships with people from different backgrounds are also essential.
