Starting on October 29, 2025, the Massachusetts Wage Transparency Act goes into effect. This new law requires employers with 25 or more employees to include accurate pay ranges in job postings and allows employees to request the pay range for their current position at any time. Employees and applicants are also protected by law from retaliation when asking about or enforcing these rights.
