Boston, MA, September 1, 2026—JOHNLEONARD’s Faith Ngana, a Paralegal from Massachusetts, has earned national recognition from the American Staffing Association as a top staffing employee, JOHNLEONARD announced today.

Faith immigrated from Nairobi, Kenya, to pursue a legal career in the United States. JOHNLEONARD helped bridge her into the field through a part-time temporary Legal Document Processor role at Mass Advocates for Children, giving her the flexibility to study for the Massachusetts Bar Exam while commuting over 90 miles each day. Her hard work earned her multiple assignment extensions, a promotion to Paralegal, and a direct-hire position. Additionally, she passed the Bar Exam on her first attempt. Beyond her own achievements, Faith brings warmth and compassion to everyone around her, helping build the organization’s new Pro Bono Program and supporting colleagues along the way. Her story powerfully reflects the staffing industry’s ability to connect talented professionals with lasting careers.

The National Staffing Employee of the Year program recognizes the most outstanding temporary and contract workers in the country. In 2025, U.S. staffing companies employed 9.5 million temporary and contract workers; Faith Ngana is one of just eight to be recognized.

“I was so excited to find out that Faith was selected as a finalist! When we had the opportunity to nominate someone, she immediately came to mind.” Says JOHNLEONARD Temporary Division Staffing Manager, Elyse Gonsalves.  “Unfortunately, I often see incredibly talented individuals struggle to land their first job in the U.S. when their experience was gained in another country. I knew that if I could just get someone to give Faith a chance, they would quickly see that she’s a rockstar and would never want to let her go. She is so deserving of this, and I couldn’t be happier to see her recognized for her talent, hard work, and tenacity.”

Upon receiving the news that she was a finalist, Faith shared, “While I am proud of this achievement, it was never mine alone. It reflects the guidance, trust, and unwavering support of the supervisors and teams who stood beside me every step of the way.”

As a National Staffing Employee of the Year Finalist, Faith and JOHNLEONARD will be recognized at the 2026 Staffing World convention and expo, held in Denver, CO from Oct. 12-14. More information regarding Staffing World can be found at staffingworld.net.
